Closer to your residents. Further with your municipality.
Hoplr connects everyday neighbourhood life with your municipality's ambitions. Bring neighbours together, share relevant information and give residents a voice in local policy.
It starts between people. It grows in your municipality.
A neighbourhood that knows each other. A municipality that can build on it.

250+ local governments help build strong neighbourhoods.
What does your municipality want to strengthen?
Three ambitions. One connected approach.
An active neighbourhood network is the foundation. Your municipality joins in with targeted communication and its own participation platform.
01 / Connect
A neighbourhood that knows each other.
Give residents a place to ask for help, share things and meet each other. Through the Hoplr app, contact grows between people who live close to each other.
From roadworks to an invitation to a neighbourhood get-together: reach the right residents from one dashboard, through neighbourhood posts, app notifications and email.
Your next project starts with contact that already exists.
Residents come to Hoplr for a practical question, a neighbourhood activity or a helping hand. That everyday contact also gives your municipal communication and participation a trusted place.
So you build on existing relationships in the neighbourhood. For a new project, you don't have to rebuild contact with residents from scratch every time.
The survey on the spatial vision brought together 640 responses from residents. Terneuzen combined that digital input with conversations and street interviews.

Hoplr combines a neighbourhood network for residents with professional tools for local communication and citizen participation. Residents find each other in the neighbourhood app; your municipality reaches neighbourhoods and target groups and organises participation through its own platform.
Do we have to launch and moderate the neighbourhoods ourselves?+
Hoplr guides the launch, trains your team and takes care of moderating the neighbourhood network. Together we decide on the neighbourhoods, the partners involved and the launch approach. The support is tailored in your proposal.
The neighbourhood network is free for residents. Municipalities choose a paid plan with the features and support they need. Compare Essential and Premium and ask for a tailored proposal.
Can the municipality read conversations between neighbours?+
No. As a municipality you can publish official messages, but that doesn't give you access to residents' conversations with each other. The neighbourhood network is ad-free.
Yes. Welfare organisations and community workers can connect requests for help with volunteers. Associations can make their work and activities visible through their own page, connected to the neighbourhood.
